General Motors
was the first manufacturer to produce vehicles especially engineered
to deal with the harsh conditions of the GCC environment.
It was also the
first to implement the highest standards in after-sales care,
pioneering bumper-to-bumper three-year warranties throughout the
GCC and introducing important customer-oriented initiatives such
as GM 24-hour Roadside Assistance, the GM Academy for Excellence
training establishment as part of the GM Difference philosophy.
Today, GM acknowledges
its long and illustrious record of achievement in the GCC, but
prefers not to dwell too long on nostalgia. The past 60 years
have equipped them well to face the challenges of the future but
they know very well it's the next 60 years and beyond that matter
now.
